One Great Story |
Daily Bible Reading PlanThe God who made us has chosen to speak to us! Our greatest need is to hear from God, to let his light shine into our lives and hearts. What he has to say is in the Bible. Those who read it find light and life. This schedule is designed to help you read through the Bible in a year. Separate readings for each day from both the Old and New Testaments permit you to divide your reading between morning and evening, or personal and family devotions, or to read the New Testament one year and the Old another. Sunday readings are taken from the Psalms and there are special selections for Easter, Thanksgiving (U.S.) and Christmas. Unlike plans which artificially assign a certain number of chapters or verses each day, this plan follows the natural divisions within the text, to help you better understand its meaning. 2009 reading plan.
